There is also Pau within the municipalities and other local authorities that have signed a memorandum of understanding, together with the regional councilor for Culture, Andrea Biancareddu, for the recognition of the "Art and Architecture of Prehistoric Sardinia" site, the Domus de Janas and other archaeological monuments, on the UNESCO world heritage list.

As regards the Pau area, there will be the site of “Su Forru de is Sinzurredusu”, underlining the importance of the “Lithic obsidian processing workshops”.

For the years 2021, 2022 and 2023, the Region will invest 300 thousand euros in favor of the "Identity and Memory" Study Center and the Network of Municipalities of the Domus de Janas, to encourage the candidacy of prehistoric monuments for the UNESCO World Heritage and allow the creation of a technical-scientific dossier on the 35 candidate sites , as well as promoting their safety and preparing a management plan.
