“Dear Union,

I am a citizen born and raised in Sinnai, where I still live.

I'm writing these few lines to inform my fellow citizens and the entire municipal administration of the situation I've been experiencing for over three years, which has destabilized me and my family.

In September 2022, the tax office notified me of the payment of IMU 2017/2021 on my first and only home. This tax is not due to me as I have lived there as my primary residence since 1984 and for which I submitted both the historical land registry certificate and the certificate of residence.

After having explained my problem and after the long silence and slow responses from the competent offices, I see that the deadline for appealing has expired, all aggravated by further costs.

I should add that I have been notified of the administrative seizure of my car, which is my only resource for work and which I mainly need to be able to accompany my wife, an oncology patient, to scheduled appointments as she is an oncology patient.

I'll start by saying that I'm unemployed and, having no financial resources, my car is also at risk of being seized. My hope is that someone can still intervene to put an end to this "odyssey" of mine.
