Quirinale: this is how Sergio Mattarella's oath will take place

Sergio Mattarella, re-elected President of the Republic, will take the oath on Thursday 3 February in front of the Parliament meeting in joint session with the regional delegates. The program of the articulated ceremony was released by the Chamber of Deputies.
The President, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Chamber, Fabrizio Castaldi, will go to Palazzo Montecitorio escorted by the Carabinieri on a motorbike. The departure is signaled by the Montecitorio bell. To welcome him there will be the President of the Chamber, Roberto Fico, and of the Senate, Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati. The bell will then stop ringing.

Mattarella will be greeted by the members of the Presidential Council of the Senate and the Presidency of the Chamber. Subsequently, with Fico, Casellati and their respective General Secretaries, he will reach the Hall to get on the bench of the presidency. Fico will declare the session open by inviting the Head of State to take an oath in accordance with Article 91 of the Constitution. The oath will be announced by the Montecitorio bell, while 21 artillery blanks will depart from the Janiculum.

Once the session is over, Fico and Casellati will accompany the President of the Republic to the Gallery where he will be welcomed by the Prime Minister. In the atrium a department of Cuirassiers lined up in gala uniforms will render the honors.
In Piazza Montecitorio the band will perform the National Anthem, the Head of State will review the department of honor before reaching the Altare della Patria by car. For the occasion, all those present, both in the hemicycle and in the stands, will have to undergo a third generation rapid swab on the same day of Thursday 3 February to be carried out exclusively in the structures of the Chamber and the Senate.
