Friday 27th and Saturday 28th appointment at Antica Casa Olla, in via Eligio Porcu 29 in Quartu Sant'Elena, for the third stage of "Ideario Sport - Festival del libro sportivo". The event is organized by the Regional Committee of the social and sports promotion body ASI, in collaboration with the Ideario cultural association and the Municipality of Quartu Sant'Elena and with the patronage of Coni Sardegna and Ussi Sardegna. Admission is free .
The topics will be extreme sports, football fans, doping and Gigi Riva. "Ideario sport" aims to promote and enhance the works of sports literature , telling the story of sports, the feats of athletes and champions, sports and personal stories, values and examples, the dark sides and personalities of men and women who have entered our memory thanks to their sporting exploits.
The events. It starts on Friday at 6 pm, with the endurance athlete Telemaco Murgia. He will introduce the space " The courageous sport ", with the journalist Massimo Raffanti (author of the book "The adventurous sport") and another endurance athlete like Beppe Scotti, who published "The seeker". Followed by " A laugh will save football " with Cristiano Militello, correspondent of Striscia la Notizia and author of "Giulietta e 'na zoccola FOREVER", and the journalist Alberto Masu who will tell - introduced by the journalist Fabio Meloni - the imagination of the fans in the banners displayed in the stadiums.
On the second day , Saturday at 6 pm, journalist Paolo Mastino will introduce “ The dark side of sport ”. Present will be the CONI sports master Sandro Donati, author of the book “The Lords of Doping”, Sergio Giuntini, president of the Italian Society of Sports History and who published “The Cheating Sport”, the Olympic walking champion Alex Schwazer, author of the book “After the Finish Line”, and the professor of Motor Sciences Francesco Marcello, for an analysis of the history of doping in sport. Following, the authors Mario Fadda and Umberto Oppus, together with the former Cagliari footballers Renato Copparoni and Gigi Piras, will present “Gigi Riva. The champion, the friend, the myth”. The name of the space is “ The legend of Rombo di tuono ”, in memory of the unforgettable champion who passed away last January.
