He is accused of assaulting a man by punching him in the face and causing wounds deemed curable in 15 days. For this the actor Massimo Popolizio, accused of personal injuries, will have to face a trial before the justice of the peace of Rome.

The first hearing was set for next June 17.

The incident took place on January 23 last year in a flea market in the capital. The plaintiff, following an argument that arose because the victim had lowered "the mask to blow his nose", attacked the man "hitting him with a fist in the face - it is said in the indictment - causing him injuries" to the bulb eye.

The victim, 53, then went to the emergency room to be medicated and reported and after a few days filed a complaint against the artist.
