Camena Edizioni will release L'estate delle comete azzurre, the new illustrated novel by Piergiorgio Pulixi, featuring watercolors by Daniele Serra.
The highly anticipated work has already attracted hundreds of pre-orders, thanks to the combination of narrative and visual art in an edition curated down to the smallest details .
The book blends noir, psychological thriller, and paranormal drama, in a clear homage to Stephen King and his ability to capture the shadows of adolescence. The watercolors by Serra—an internationally renowned illustrator who has previously worked on works by King and Lansdale—amplify the story's dark and poetic atmosphere.
Two versions will be available: a classic one and a limited collector's edition, featuring an alternative cover, signatures, and personalizations. "It's a project that combines words and images in a unique narrative experience," explain publishers Stefano Obino and Andrea Fulgheri.
Following the success of authors such as Follesa and Voinich, the Sardinian publishing house, Camena Edizioni, closes the year with one of its most ambitious publications, already destined to make its mark.
