Pula Letteraria, the fourth edition kicks off: five days of book talks and distinguished guests.

The fourth edition of Pula Letteraria begins today, August 25th , the festival that brings books, authors, and major cultural figures to the evocative setting of the archaeological site of Nora until August 29th. This edition focuses on the theme of travel , understood not only as a physical and geographical journey, but also as an inner experience, research, memory, and transformation.

The event is organized by the Pula Cultura Diffusa Foundation in collaboration with the Municipality of Pula . Artistic direction is once again entrusted to Dario Vergassola , who will guide the audience through the meetings with his customary irony and lightheartedness.

We kick off with three preview days, the Open Sessions , scheduled for today, tomorrow, and Thursday, August 27th, starting at 6:00 PM, inside the archaeological site of Nora. A calendar dedicated to close encounters between readers, authors, and moderators.

Today's protagonists will be Tamara Pes , with Memorie di un tasto , Francesco Carofiglio , author of Tutto il mio folle amore , and Paolo Roversi , with E così per non morire . Also on the program are meetings with Gabriele Calvisi , author of Funtana Raminosa , and Ennio Meloni , author of La candela del minatore .

Tomorrow, Wednesday 26 August, it will be the turn of Melania Muscas , with The Blood of the Immortals. Sherden II , Ottavio Olita , with Stupidity, the Mother of Hatred , Graziella Monni , with The Lonely Girl , and Elias Mandreu , with God Willing. And the Carabinieri Allow It .

On Thursday 27 August the protagonists will be Davide Piras , author of Femmenella , Gianni Usai , with La sola notte , Luca Tolu , with Bentu Malu , and Antonio Boggio , author of Nero Mediterraneo .

The festival will kick off on Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th, with events spread across two stages. At 6:00 pm, at the site entrance, overlooking the ruins and the sea, there will be talks dedicated to the genesis of the works. At 9:00 pm, in the evocative setting of the Roman Forum , there will be evening talks.

On Friday, August 28th, at 6 pm, presentations will be held with Daemonium, Roberto Pili, and Patrizia Marras . At 9 pm , Geppi Cucciari, Paolo Mieli, and Massimo Giletti will take the stage.

On Saturday, August 29th, at 6:00 PM, the meetings will feature Maria Laura Berlinguer, Marco Bonini, Anthony Muroni, and Claudia Sarritzu . The final evening, at 9:00 PM, will feature Antonella Lattanzi, Giovanna Botteri, and Fausto Biloslavo .

The fourth edition also marks the debut of the Pula International Literary Prize , a competition for published and unpublished fiction. The jury will be chaired by writer Francesco Abate .

For five days, the archaeological site of Nora will once again be transformed into a great cultural stage, where literature meets history and landscape.
