Pula is preparing to celebrate the World Day against Violence against Women.

On Friday, starting at 16.30, in the council chamber of the Town Hall, various guests will address the problem from a social and anthropological point of view .

Representatives of the anti-violence center "Women at the finish line" and the carabinieri of Pula station will take part in the appointment, organized by the councilorship for social policies. The professionals of the Pula social services will also take part in the debate.

During the works, the book "Ainnantis - stories of women from a Sardinia that goes beyond", by Carmen Angioni and Giorgia Luppi will also be presented. The educator Lorenzo Braina will participate in the event, offering his contribution to address the problem of violence against women.

Furthermore, from today until 2 December , in the Municipal Library of the former Regia magistrate's court, in via Nora, it will be possible to visit the bibliographic exhibition "Souls: women torn from the body", with a vast collection of themed books.
The texts will be on display and on loan throughout the period.
