The perfect opera has been defined. For the development of the story and music, rich in well-known arias, such as “Che gelida manina” and “Sì, mi chiamava Mimì”. Tomorrow at 8:30 pm the Teatro Comunale di Sassari hosts the premiere of “La Bohème”, Giacomo Puccini’s masterpiece. Two performances: Friday, always at 8:30 pm, and Sunday at 4:30 pm.
The staging is curated by the Marialisa de Carolis organization, with the artistic director Alberto Gazale as director . A very Sassari opera, not only for the staging of the scenes and the costumes created in the city, but also because the orchestra will be conducted by the thirty-four year old Sassari native Leonardo Sini, one of the best young Italian conductors, who already has good international experience. Furthermore, in the third performance the role of Rodolfo will be entrusted to the Sassari tenor Matteo Desole, making his debut in a leading role.
Also on stage are Valerio Borgioni (Rodolfo for the first two performances), Marta Mari (Mimi), the Russian Evgeniya Vukkert (Musetta), Christian Federici (Marcello) , Matteo Pierone (Benoit / Alcindoro), Michael Zeni (Schaunard) and Tiziano Rosati (Colline), Claudio Deledda (Parpignol), Giuseppe Lisai (Sergeant of the Customs Officers) and Antonello Lambroni (A Customs Officer).
The de Carolis choir is trained by Francesca Tosi, the children's choir is directed by Salvatore Rizzu.
