The three-year project "Limba e Identidade III" began in Pozzomaggiore , the lead municipality. This initiative, dedicated to the promotion and valorization of the Sardinian language and culture, also involves the municipalities of Bonorva, Cossoine, Mara, and Padria in the Meilogu area. The project, funded by the Sardinia Region with funds from Law 482/99 and Regional Law 22/18, is coordinated by the Camillo Bellieni Institute and represents the continuation of a process already initiated in previous years.

Pozzomaggiore and Mayor Mariano Soro played a crucial role in supporting the initiative's continuation, recognizing its cultural and identity-building value for the entire area. The project is structured around three main areas: language services, training courses, and cultural activities.

The language helpdesk , headed by Lucia Sechi, is open 520 hours annually to the public and offers advice to citizens, local authorities, schools, and associations for the translation of administrative documents, press releases, brochures, and informational materials into Sardinian. Collaboration with schools, libraries, and play centers is also planned for outreach meetings and language activities for children, teens, and adults, to promote the use of Sardinian and knowledge of Sardinian authors, literary works, and films, as well as a series of in-depth meetings on local history.

Alongside the service desk, a language training program is being developed, divided into three levels—basic, intermediate, and advanced—designed primarily for public employees and subsequently open to the public. The courses, led by instructor Immacolata Salis, will cover Sardinian spelling, vocabulary, and morphosyntax, with practical exercises in reading, writing, translation, and conversation.

Ample space is given to workshop-based cultural activities , designed to strengthen the intergenerational transmission of the language and heritage of Sardinian identity. Among the initiatives planned are a History of Sardinia workshop, courses dedicated to traditional cuisine and sweets, weaving and embroidery activities with a focus on local products, the intergenerational "Tramas de lana" workshop, featuring the creation of artifacts and displays that will commemorate the most significant anniversaries of the calendar year, and the series of meetings "A Mysterious Island," dedicated to Sardinia as described and depicted by foreign and Italian photographers and travelers in the 19th and 20th centuries, encompassing reality, clichés, and stereotypes.
