The postponement ever closer

Time is almost up and the Democratic Party is very far from a summary of the names. The deadline for the presentation of candidacies for the office of secretary is tomorrow, but the rumors only reveal that "we are on the high seas". And the chances of a new postponement of the primaries, after the one from 5 to 12 December, are very high.
The second phase of the regional congress started on Wednesday, the one that starts with the collection of signatures in support of the aspiring successors of Emanuele Cani, and which should end on 3 December with the proclamation of the two challengers. But it does not appear that any collection of signatures has begun. The various dem souls continue to come together but no one makes a name. In the meantime, the solution hoped for by the outgoing secretary has certainly not been set aside, that is, a candidate who can agree with everyone, perhaps the only one - at the moment - who could adapt to times that have become very tight. But Cani's proposal is not espoused by everyone: not by the deputy Romina Mura ("we don't want a congress decided at the table") who with the president of Anci Emiliano Deiana presented one of the three thematic political documents discussed in recent days in the circles of the Island.
As the hours pass, it is increasingly difficult for the currents at stake - Popular reformists, Gypsies, and the signatories of the Mura-Deiana document - to express last-minute candidates. The postponement, at this point, appears to be the most logical option also because the organization of the primary machine requires a considerable effort.
