Immediate refreshments for the productive categories that have undergone price increases, a system reform to support the economy, a new energy plan with people and businesses at the center and not just the profits of multinationals, the activation of a "rural free zone" which makes it advantageous over the next five years to live and produce in the most depressed areas of Sardinia.

These are the necessary measures to deal with the "situation of extreme hardship that reigns in the Sardinian communities and among the productive categories due to the increase in the costs of energy, fuels and, in general, raw materials", says the president of Anci Sardegna Emiliano Deiana, who wrote a letter sent to institutions, social partners, business associations, environmentalists and the university world.

Deiana stresses that "there is no category (shepherds, processors, farmers, traders, artisans, road hauliers) today that does not suffer from a crisis that appears to be neither temporary nor short-lived and on which all Sardinian politics is called to measure itself with system responses ".

"In the next few years - Deiana still remembers - a considerable mass of public resources will arrive in Sardinia (Pnrr, Programming 2021-2027, Just Transition Fund, Complementary Fund, Institutional Development Contract) largely oriented towards investments that can no longer be postponed".

And it is with these funds that the foundations "for the social and economic rebirth of Sardinia" must be laid.
