Good news for the Sassari racecourse and for Sardinian horse racing: the inspection carried out this morning by the managers and technicians appointed by Mipaaf, the ministry of agricultural, food and forestry policies, gave a positive result. The Sassarese horse racing company, chaired by Giancarlo Scarpa, complied with all the requests made in the minutes at the end of July which had decreed the suspension of the Summer Meeting.

The track is perfectly accessible and therefore it will be possible to resume running. Probably as early as October 1st.

The calendar of the three autumn days will be integrated with the four to be recovered (one has already taken place in Chilivani) and therefore there will be seven days, also to the satisfaction of owners, coaches and jockeys.

Naturally, the Sassarese Horse Racing Company will have to take care of maintenance well after each day of racing, because the track has recently been redone and has excellent potential that will emerge over time.
