The cultural association “Piccola Orchestra Goganga” offers the original show-concert in homage to two singer-songwriters: Giorgio Gaber and Enzo Jannacci . The event is scheduled for Thursday 28 December, at 8.30 pm, at the Andrea Parodi municipal theater, in Porto Torres. An initiative entirely dedicated to the two artists with readings, films and reflections on their works accompanied by the orchestra - composed of Gian Piero Carta on saxophone, Gianni Gadau on bass, Marco Chessa on drums, Daniele Manca on keyboards and Mariano Melis guitar and vocals - who performs live the most significant songs of the two great artists who left an extraordinary legacy, still disarmingly relevant today 20 and 10 years after their passing.

The show, lively and engaging, offers songs from the rich repertoire that the two artists left behind, songs accompanied by images and videos that still tell real stories of great relevance today. After an in-depth study of the two famous Italian singer-songwriters, the "Piccola Orchestra Goganga" performs the most representative songs of both, arranged with current sounds but faithful to the spirit of the works conceived and composed by Gaber and Jannacci. With this project we want to give further value to the greatest communicative, ironic, political and social thought of the twentieth century which has often passed through the work of Gaber and Jannacci.

The two singer-songwriters were linked by a sincere and "strange" friendship of over forty years, brilliant friends who lived among "lemon slices" in a restless freedom, longing for the right to be "sad". They were a couple of artists from cabaret shows around the Milanese clubs, moving on to the zany-cryptic duo "I due corsari", "Ja-Ga Brothers" until returning to the stage in the nineties with the play "Aspettindo Godot."
