Mini reshuffle in the municipal council of Porto Torres led by the mayor Massimo Mulas: the councilor Massimiliano Ledda takes over from the resigning environmental councilor Daniele Amato. The resignation was accepted by the mayor who issued the decree to entrust the powers of the former councilor to the new member of the executive who will have to leave the position of municipal councilor of the Democratic Party. The first of the elected members of the Democratic Party list, Patrizia Arru, will take her place.

Massimiliano Ledda acquires all the powers of Amato: Environment - Civil Protection, Cemetery Services, Stray Animals, Asinara Policies, Sustainability and Energy Efficiency, Development and Recovery of the suburbs, Waste Management, Maintenance, Decor and Urban Green.

"I accepted the resignation presented by councilor Daniele Amato - said the mayor - and I understand the human and professional reasons that led him to this painful decision. I thank him for the great work he has done: I am a witness to the dedication and commitment with he took charge of a difficult delegation. With the collaboration of the offices he produced a large amount of activities, producing various concrete and important results. I appreciated his work also from a human point of view, for the meekness and industriousness they have characterized his conduct and which enabled him to face the inevitable moments of difficulty with intelligence ”.

The choice that fell on Ledda is justified by his commitment as chairman of the Environment Commission. “In particular - added Mulas - he will have to provide the political guidelines to follow the delicate transition between the end of the contract for the urban hygiene service and the launch of the new one. A complex job that I am sure he will be able to do in the best possible way ".
