Over 1,700 years of history, centuries-old rites, identity tradition, culture and entertainment, art and food and wine. It is the Festha Manna of Porto Torres which will enliven the city on 18, 19, 20 May and the final one on 8 June . The devotion for the saints Gavino, Proto and Gianuario will experience its most exciting moments with the procession that will accompany the return of the wooden simulacra of the Martyrs from the small church of Balai near the Basilica of San Gavino, with the Night Pilgrimage from the Cathedral of Sassari to the Basilica and with the liturgical celebrations of Pentecost and the Solemn Pontifical.

Among the most anticipated events are the great concert marked by the "Note sotto la Torre" logo which this year will feature the singer Noemi , the Fish Festival and the Palio di San Gavino. These are the flagship events of a rich and varied calendar that will start as early as Tuesday 14 May, prepared by the municipal administration in collaboration with the associations and commercial activities of the area.

This is the program of the celebrations. On Saturday at 10.30, the "Fisherman's Regatta" will be held on the Scoglio Lungo beach, organized by Asso.Ve.La in collaboration with the Etnos Li Bainzini association. From 6pm to 8pm, Piazza Umberto I will host workshops for children and the "LaL-Legarsi alla Lettura Project" organized by the municipal library and Comes. At 9.30 pm in the green space in front of the Aragonese tower it will be the turn of Noemi's concert . The Roman singer-songwriter will perform her greatest hits during the show organized by "Applausi" in collaboration with Salvatore Fresu. At 10pm the "Night Pilgrimage" curated by the Archdiocese will depart from the cathedral of San Nicola in Sassari and head towards the basilica of San Gavino where, at 3am, the Pilgrim's Mass will be celebrated, presided over by Archbishop Gian Franco Saba whose annual message is a I invite the cities and communities of the area to reflect on the urgency of "educating in hospitable thinking: for a culture of peace and inclusion".

Sunday 19 May at 11.30 in the Civic School of Music “F. De Andrè” a new appointment of the concert series "Musicando per la città" is scheduled with the concert by the Mexican pianist Maria Daniela Gonzalez. At 5pm the steps of the small church of Balai Vicino will be the setting for the historical re-enactment in traditional medieval clothes "Il Sogno di Comita" organized by the Giudicato di Torres association. At 6pm in the Balai Park the Eucharistic celebration will be held presided over by Don Boniface and concelebrated by the parish priests and priests of the city, while at 7pm the procession will begin in the Balai Park which will accompany the return of the simulacra of the Holy Turritan Martyrs to the Basilica of San Gavino where they will remain until May 3rd next year. Starting from 8.30 pm, in Piazza dei Martiri, the Cumbessias/Atrio Comita space will host the event curated by the Intragnas association "In nome di San Gavino", with dances by folk groups from various centers on the island and the "Singing Festival a chiterra dedicated to F. Falchi” organized by Tazenda cooperative society. Starting from 9pm, on the stage set up in the square of the Aragonese tower, the "BBrothers & Band" will go up for a stage of the Anima Tour. The concert is organized by the CCN Le Botteghe Turritane in collaboration with Salvatore Fresu and will also have Peppino Anfossi as guests who will perform on the violin, the Mamuthones and Issohadores Mamoiada of the Atzeni Association and the Turritano Polyphonic Choir.

On Monday 20 May at 9am, the Solemn Pontifical will be held in the Basilica of San Gavino, presided over by Archbishop Gian Franco Saba, which will end with the traditional exchange of keys between the mayors of Porto Torres and Sassari , a symbolic rite that represents the communion between the two city. The function will be broadcast live on television by the Videolina broadcaster on digital terrestrial channel 10 and on Sky and TivùSat channel 819, in streaming on www.videolina.it and in the L'Unione Digital app. Starting from 1pm, Piazza Eroi dell'Onda will be set up to host the traditional "Fish Festival" , a highly anticipated and popular gastronomic event organized by Aps Maestrale. Saturday 8 June the Palio of Santu Bainzu" organized by the "Etnos Li Bainzini" association.
