An ancient Roman aqueduct found inside a courtyard of a popular building in the Satellite Village , a suggestive archaeological testimony used as street furniture in one of the neighborhoods of Porto Torres.

City councilor Gavino Sanna raised the issue in the council chamber . He asks that the site be valorised, an engineering work which in ancient times served to supply water to the domus of the area, built in the external space between Via Emilia and Via Sardegna . An uncommon finding that would need to be redeveloped. «We will try to communicate with the interested bodies, in particular with the Superintendency, which is particularly sensitive to these issues and to find available funds to try to recondition that space and make it more dignified». For the president of the city council, Franco Satta: « The current legislation requires the owners of the property to take care of the cultural heritage located inside their home or area . In this case, the ownership of the courtyard belongs to Area, the regional housing company, so it is necessary for the Municipality, Superintendence and Area to find a system to enhance the site which needs to be restored and preserved".
