The counter-analysis carried out in Rome, at the Acqua Acetosa Olympic laboratory, confirmed Paul Pogba's testosterone positivity.

The Juventus midfielder tested positive last September 11th following a test carried out during the championship opener between Udinese and Juventus.

Pogba had been suspended as a precautionary measure by the National Anti-Doping Tribunal.

The player, who risks 2 to 4 years of suspension, could focus on "non-intentionality" or propose a plea deal to have his sentence reduced.

Also worth seeing are the moves of Juventus, tied to Pogba until 2026 with a very onerous contract: 8 million net per year for the midfielder, around 11 gross. The club could suspend Pogba's payments, guaranteeing him the minimum salary of 39 thousand euros gross per year, or, in the event of disqualification, terminate the contract unilaterally.
