An idol of boys and girls, a young actor who has won many awards for his work in fiction and film, Andrea Arru is also a pioneer of a new artistic-literary genre: the photographic novel.
"Love Shall Not" is the editorial project of Castoro that in two books merges photography, comics, graphics, writing and acting in a single narrative language, giving life to a new narrative genre closer to the new generations. The screenplay is curated by two specialists in Italian children's literature: Manlio Castagna and Marco Magnone.
A sort of 3.0 photo story that made Massimo Ciavarro famous in his time, with the difference that those experiences opened up the world of cinema to the handsome model, while Andrea Arru has already been acting for six years and with "Glassboy", Diabolik-Chi sei?", "Il ragazzo dai pantaloni rosa" and the fictions "Storia di una famiglia perbene" and "Di4ri" is already very well known. Not to mention the enormous following on social media with almost one million and 800 thousand followers between Tik Tok and Instagram
Precisely for this reason and for his expressiveness, the young Ploaghese Andrea Arru is the protagonist of the first book "Love Shall Not. Farfalle" which will be released on May 6th and will be launched at the Turin Book Fair, on May 17th in the Arena Bookstock together with the other book which has as its protagonist Sofia Nicolini, Isabel from the Netflix fiction "Di4ri".
Renata Gorgani, editorial director and CEO of Castoro, anticipates: «After two years of work we have produced two books that are unprecedented, new on a global level, so much so that they have already captured the attention of many countries and have already been sold in Spain and Poland, even before their publication».
