«The high prices coinciding with some periods that especially affects Sicily and Sardinia is something inadmissible».
This was stated by Transport Minister Matteo Salvini , on a visit to Catania.
To counter the price increases, Salvini added, " we are discussing with the companies. I hope that Ita's journey will be completed within a very few days, in this way we will have a solid and definitive interlocutor and then we are also discussing with the control bodies that depend on my ministry ».
"Naturally - Salvini specified - I cannot intervene straight leg on the free market, however we can absolutely do a form of moral suasion to avoid crazy tariffs ".
