A breakdown in the plane that yesterday should have taken Palermo to Pescara forced the Sicilian club to ask for the Serie B championship match to be postponed to Sunday, which should have been played today at 2 pm in Ascoli. Lega Serie B, after having "assessed the existence of objective reasons", accepted the request and the match will be played tomorrow at 2 pm. Immediately after the scheduled flight that was supposed to take Palermo to Pescara, from where the team rosanero should have then reached Ascoli by bus, the pilot of the plane encountered a failure in the cockpit and was forced to reverse course and return to the ground at Falcone e Borsellino airport.
