Fabio Pisacane has been confirmed as manager of Cagliari Primavera until 30 June 2026. Deputy Matteo Battilana also remains with him in the rossoblù. The announcement comes from the club.

Pisacane, former player for Cagliari from 2015 to 2021 (153 appearances and 5 goals), arrives on the Primavera bench in March 2023 for his first experience following those as Technical Collaborator of the First Team and in the youth sector, including the victory interim coach of the First team, on 26 December 2022 against Cosenza.

At the helm of the Primavera, he immediately achieved salvation, reviving the group's fortunes at the end of the 2022-2023 season. So the last year, with the playoffs only fading at the last minute.

«This renewal fills me with pride and is a further source of stimulus that combines with the great desire, mine and that of all the staff, to continue our work by facing new challenges in the upcoming season», comments Pisacane.
