After last year's huge success, with 3,000 spectators enchanted by the sounds of "The Dark Side of the Moon," Pink Floyd Legend returns to Cagliari with the rock opera "The Wall."
Via del Collegio celebrates the twentieth anniversary of "La Musica che Gira intorno" by bringing the legendary 1979 album to the stage: the event will take place on August 27th at the Arena in Fiera, where, starting at 9 pm, the epic story of The Wall Celebration Tour will come to life again, a monumental live performance of Pink Floyd's work that redefined the history of world music.
The stars of the event, which is part of the special 20th anniversary of the "La Musica che Gira intorno" festival, are Fabio Castaldi (vocals and bass), Alessandro Errichetti (vocals and guitars), Simone Temporali (vocals and keyboards), Paul Enjoy (guitars, bass, and vocals), AnderTool (The Teacher), and Emanuele Esposito (drums). They are recognized by audiences and critics alike as the most representative group in the Floyd scene thanks to the quality, intensity, and faithfulness of their performances. They are joined by Daphne Nisi Mete and Giorgia Zaccagni on vocals, Manfredi Roberti on bass, and the vocal ensemble Anonima Armonisti on backing vocals.
Under Castaldi's direction, the real-time construction—and destruction—of the legendary wall, a central element of the narrative, will come to life on stage, amidst a crescendo of special effects by Massimiliano Bianchi. Fly In's large inflatable structures and Plasmedia's video mapping projections will make every moment an immersive journey, complemented by Alessandra Traina's set design, Vanessa Mantellassi's costumes, and Lara Crisci's makeup and hair styling.
