Sardinian director Roberto Pili received another important recognition, winning his second award at the Orgosolo Film Festival. His film project, under the artistic direction of Paolo Carboni and Daniele Gaglianone, was awarded.

Following the success of "Profondo Nero" in 2025, Pili returns to the Orgosolo Film Festival and receives a Special Mention in the 2nd Category Tziulai – TV and Web Reporting Journalism for "Lontano dal centro – Cantico errante di un DJ Senza Tempo" (Far from the Center – Wandering Song of a Timeless DJ) at the 2026 edition. Produced by Francesco Pili, the short documentary chronicles the personal and artistic journey of Richard Di Via, known as DJ Sputo, a key figure in underground hip hop culture, demonstrating how music can become a tool for expression, belonging, and rebirth.

A special jury composed of six inmates from the Ettore Scalas prison in Cagliari-Uta , who viewed and judged the competing short films, justified the award by emphasizing how the film represents "a concrete example of personal redemption through the creative power of music," highlighting the role of hip hop as a tool capable of restoring voice, dignity, and belonging. The jury also emphasized the possibility of rebuilding one's life path through authentic passion and a means of expression capable of guiding one's life toward more informed choices.

"I dedicate this recognition," Pili states, "to my friend Roberto Loddo, whom I wish to remember for his extraordinary human, civic, and social commitment." This particularly meaningful dedication commemorates the journalist, editor of Il Manifesto Sardo, and longtime activist for the rights of the most vulnerable, a key figure in Sardinia's social and cultural landscape.
