From Sardinia to the most spied-on house in Italy, with a few "anxieties" and the promise to show herself without filters. Piera Meloni, born in 2003, has already entered the red door of Big Brother VIP. The young Sardinian creator is among the contestants in the ninth season of the reality show, officially launching Thursday, September 17th in prime time on Canale 5, hosted by Ilary Blasi.
For her (along with Carmen Di Pietro, Jonathan Kashanian, and Alessandro Varsi), the adventure has already begun with the Open House, the preview that opened the house to the Mediaset Infinity audience before the premiere. So, the first toasts and laughter to warm up the atmosphere.

Piera has made a name for herself on social media with content focused primarily on beauty, fashion, skincare, lifestyle, and fitness. Originally from La Maddalena, after studying interior design, she moved to Milan and combined her work as a content creator with radio: she hosts a music program on RDS Next with Numero Verde, aka Andrea Cioffi.


"I'm very excited. It's definitely going to be a different experience than usual," she told her followers, explaining that she still doesn't know what to expect. In an official Big Brother VIP video, she introduced herself like this: "I'm brunette, brown eyes, half Sardinian, half Neapolitan. I'm not very tall, but I have a lot of tattoos. I have the word 'Lucky' written on my chest. I'm a content creator. I really love doing my hair and makeup."
"It's one thing to see it on TV and try to imagine what it will be like, but it's another thing to be there, filmed 24/7 with twenty strangers in a house," said Piera, who has been engaged for about a year. And she doesn't hide a certain nervousness: "I have a little anxiety that I hope will go away." But along with the fear, there's above all curiosity for an experience that, she says, could stay with her "forever." "You obviously know me through these screens, but I'm very happy because I believe that then you will have the chance to really get to know me 100%, as I am, with all my strengths and weaknesses."

Leading the new VIP group will be Ilary Blasi, appearing on her fifth Big Brother VIP, joined in the studio by commentators Cesara Buonamici and Selvaggia Lucarelli. The cast includes, in addition to Piera Meloni, Carmen Di Pietro, Jonathan Kashanian, and Alessandro Varsi, Simone Annicchiarico, Alex Belli, Giancarlo Danto, Giacomo Gallani, Marina La Rosa, Michelle Masullo, Federica Provvedi, Moreno Morello, Andreas Müller, Megan Ria, Alessandro Roncaccia, and Guendalina Tavassi.
And there is a new return of Valeria Marini , protagonist since the first edition of Big Brother VIP in 2016 and then now a regular with several returns.
