In the piano field, he is considered one of the finest Italian talents, as evidenced by his numerous awards. On Tuesday, October 27th, at 9 pm, audiences at the Teatro Civico in Sassari will be able to attend a recital-concert by the virtuoso Paolo Ehrenheim , the star of the grand finale of the third edition of the Nessun Dorma – La Belle Époque Festival, organized by Ars Aurelia Ets with the artistic direction of Irene Dore.

The show “Sursum Corda! – Gregorian Echoes from Romanticism to Today” explores the ability of the Western musical tradition to reinvent the spiritual matrix of Gregorian chant through over a century of piano music.

The program intertwines the mystical atmospheres of Franz Liszt and the intense interiority of Johannes Brahms with the lyricism of Ottorino Respighi, the clear architecture of Erik Satie, and the sonic experiments of George Crumb, also featuring two new compositions by Carmen Fizzarotti and Francesco Mariotti. The result is a unified musical narrative capable of bringing together different eras, sensibilities, and sonic territories.

The concert is organized in collaboration with the Bartolomeo Cristofori International Piano Festival, the project's leader, and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and SIAE as part of the Per Chi Crea program.
