Between 2018 and 2021 they would have scattered the Island with photovoltaic systems, proposing to customers that within a few months of activation they would have obtained the disbursement of European funds with the reimbursement of 85% of the expenditure incurred and the remaining 15% through incentives provided by the Energy Services Manager (GSE) and Enea. Unfortunately, this was not true and in the end everyone paid thousands of euros without seeing any reimbursement.

Thus began an investigation by the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office into four Cagliari companies that deal with photovoltaic and solar thermal, which led in recent days to the preventive seizure aimed at confiscating a Porsche Cayenne and a Ferrari F151, various properties, accounts and assets for 744 thousand euros against the owners of the companies. The suspects are at least three who are accused of criminal association, fraud and self-laundering of the sums derived from the scams.

The head of the investigation, opened in 2019, is the deputy prosecutor Guido Pani who collected a series of reports from the Carabinieri, the Finance Police and the Quartura Mobile Squad from various areas of Sardinia (Cagliari, Sinnai, Arbus, Arbatax and other centers).
