“Uzbekistan” by Luca Altera, “Marocco” by Tiziana Fusiello and “The Orthodox Rite in Olbia” by Cristian Csinko: the three photographic exhibitions will be inaugurated on Friday at 10.30 at the “Attilio Deffenu” technical institute in Olbia , where they will remain until December 8.
Photographer Francesco Malavolta will be present , and after the inauguration he will hold a meeting with the students of the school to illustrate his work, entitled “Popoli in movimento”, and in the evening at 18:30 at the Argonauti Polytechnic a public meeting. The events are part of the program of the photography festival “Storie di un Attimo”.
In particular, the exhibition by Csinko, a student of the “Attilio Deffenu” and a student of the photography course of the same institute, aims to offer a deep and intimate vision of the Orthodox Church, highlighting its aspect of living tradition, guardian of spirituality and meeting place between the human and the divine. A journey that goes beyond the surface, a path that leads the public to rediscover the sacredness of the religious environment through the eyes of the photographer.
As for Malavolta, his “Popoli in movimento” will be open until December 8 at the Archaeological Museum of Olbia. Through it, the Calabrian photojournalist, who has been involved for twenty years in documenting the migratory flows that affect our continent and who collaborates with the European Community and various international press agencies such as Associated Press, as well as international organizations such as UNHCR and IOM, aims to put the stories of individual people first as the only narrative, which contrasts with that of the continuous juxtaposition of refugees as numbers.
