Petrol and diesel prices return to record levels, to the point that in some areas of the country the prices at the pump exceed 2 euros per liter even in self mode.

Based on the monitoring carried out by the association, the price lists have reached very high levels, for example in Ischia, where today a liter of petrol in served mode costs up to 2,249 euros per liter, 2,130 euros / liter in self mode, while diesel fuel reaches cost 2,189 euros / liter with served.

Abnormal prices also in Sardinia , where in La Maddalena the green self-service mode is sold at 2.109 euros per liter, 2.299 euros with served (diesel 2.249 euros / liter served, 2.059 euros self-service).

But even in Rome, the price lists have largely exceeded the threshold of 2 euros per liter in many distributors, and reach 2,160 euros per liter for the served mode, 2,069 euros / liter in self mode. Today, a full tank of fuel costs about 20 euros more than last year, and the increases at the pump on average exceed 26% on 2021, resulting in a sting equal to about 456 euros per family per year only due to higher refueling costs.
