Fuel prices are increasingly higher , with some Regions reaching and exceeding the psychological threshold of 2 euros per liter for petrol in self-service mode for the first time .

After the autonomous province of Bolzano, which had broken through that limit in recent days, today it is the turn of Liguria and Basilicata, which reach 2,006 and 2,002 euros per liter respectively, and also Sardinia , which together with Calabria and Valle d'Aosta it stands at just 2 euros .

This was reported by the National Consumers Union on average regional data released by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (Mimit).

The most virtuous regions are Veneto, in first place with 1,961, Marche in second position with 1,964, Umbria and Lazio in third, ex aequo with 1,974 euros per litre.

As regards diesel, 3 regions, in addition to the province of Trento, today break the threshold of 1.9 euros: Friuli Venezia Giulia, Molise and Tuscany. Lombardy went from 1.887 yesterday to 1.9, without overcoming that gap. Other regions have been over 1.9 euros per liter for days for a total of 9 regions, plus the provinces of Bolzano and Trento.

Looking at today's absolute price, Bolzano is still the most expensive (1.939 euros per litre), followed by Liguria (1.932). In third place Sardinia, accompanied by Calabria and Valle d'Aosta, with an average of 1.924 euros per litre.
