For the 17th edition , Danza Sassari Danza is changing format: from a festival concentrated in a few days, it is becoming a true festival, offering an even broader, more engaging, and more structured program from May to December.

It starts next Thursday at 6pm, in the spaces of Viale srl, at 13 Via Roma, will host an aperitif evening celebrating the "S'Empatia" International Prize for the Performing Arts , in memory of Carlo Solinas , a Sassari entrepreneur and passionate patron of young artists, as well as the longtime president of the Teatro Verdi. Now in its fourth year, the prize aims to instill in younger generations a cultural ideal that is, above all, a desire for sharing, social commitment, and openness.

The evening will also be an opportunity to present the program of performances. On May 15th, at 8:15 pm, at S'Ala – Spazio per artisti , at Via Asproni 17, the studio titled "snam" by Noemi Piva , author, dancer, and visual artist based in Turin.

Also on the bill are Mariagiulia Serantoni and Andrea Parolin with an open rehearsal of “Colére (And Care) - A counterfigure named hope”, “Agìta: il corpo elettrico” , the duo Em+ , composed of Emanuele Rosa and Maria Focaraccio, the Basque-Sassari company Igor x Moreno, the dancer Margherita Elliot , Teodora Grano, Fabio Liberti (Italy/Denmark), Fra Fadda and zanni CT (from England, in collaboration with the British Council).
