Perception of corruption, Italy improves: we are in 42nd place
According to the new Transparency International report, the international trust placed in our country is growing. A leap of 10 positions
Italy jumped 10 positions in the ranking of countries examined by Transparency International in the 2021 edition of the Corruption Perception Index.
Our country obtained three points more in the ranking which accounts for the reputation of 180 countries.
In detail, Italy is in 42nd place, with a score of 56, while last year it was 52nd with 56 points.
International trust is therefore growing, even if our country is still far from the European Union average, which is 64.
In the last ten years, Italy has nevertheless managed to earn 14 points.
