Peppe Zarbo, historic actor of "Un posto al sole", leaves the much-loved TV soap, which has been on the air for 27 years for over six thousand episodes.

He announced it on social media: «On 21 October 1996 – he writes – the first episode of "Un posto al sole" was broadcast. It was an incredible and once-in-a-lifetime adventure. I want to heartily thank Rai, Fremantle and all the public, as well as the generations who grew up with us. Having been part of this family was a true privilege and an unforgettable experience that I will always carry on my journey."

Zarbo, 57 years old, Sicilian, played Franco Boschi in the series . «Looking back – he continues – I am filled with emotion for all the moments shared and for all the love I received. I am grateful for the love you have shown me over the years. Many thanks to all!"
