Silver for the Italian women's foil team at the Paris Olympics.

In the final held at the Grand Palais Arianna Errigo, Alice Volpi, Martina Favaretto and Francesca Palumbo failed to beat the US team, made up of Jacqueline Dubrovich, Lee Kiefer, Lauren Scruggs and Maia Mei Weintraub.

The Italians - who had defeated Japan 45-39 in the semi-final - were beaten 45-39, despite a splendid comeback attempt in the last assault.

For Errigo and her teammates, however, a great result which is worth the sixteenth medal for the Italian expedition at the 2024 Games.
