First gold medal for Italy at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
It is the one won by Nicolò Martinenghi in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 59.03 ahead of the Englishman Adam Peaty, silver in 59.05, and the American Nic Fink, bronze with the same time.
