The title of the show, conceived by Paolo Fresu, is inspired by "Kind of Blue," the Miles Davis work that revolutionized jazz. Hence, "Kind of Miles," which arrives at the Teatro Comunale in Sassari tomorrow at 8:30 pm after the brilliant concerts in Cagliari, again under the banner of CeDac Sardegna.

On stage together with Paolo Fresu (trumpet, flugelhorn and multi-effects) Bebo Ferra (electric guitar), Dino Rubino (piano and Fender Rhodes Electric Piano), Marco Bardoscia (double bass), Stefano Bagnoli (drums), Filippo Vignato (trombone, electronic multi-effects, keyboard), Federico Malaman (electric bass) and Christian Meyer (drums).

The direction is by Andrea Bernard , the videos are by Marco Usuelli and Alexandre Cayuela , the lighting design is by Marco Alba and the costumes are by Elena Beccaro .

Kind of Miles” ideally closes the trilogy – created with the Teatro Stabile di Bolzano – which began with “Tempo di Chet” , a fascinating tribute to a jazz legend like Chet Baker, and continued with the surprising “Tango Macondo” with Ugo Dighero, inspired by “Il venditore di metafore” by Salvatore Niffoi, for a fantastic and dreamlike journey between Sardinia and Argentina.
