A story of love and friendship for Paolo Calabresi on tour with "Perfetti Sconosciuti", the show by Paolo Genovese, in which the Roman actor plays Rocco, an established surgeon, married to Eva (Valeria Solarino), a psychoanalyst by profession.
Eva and Rocco organize a dinner among friends that, through a seemingly harmless party game, turns into a moment of truth.
The theatrical version of the famous film, on the bill from 9 to 13 April at the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari and on 14 April at the Teatro Comunale in Sassari, tells of an interesting social experiment, as Calabresi explains: «During an evening among old friends, who know each other very well, one of them suggests sharing their cell phones, so that everyone can hear the phone calls and read the messages, since they all claim to have no secrets».
In fact, the actor recalls, «the comedy deals with a very current theme, that is, the dependence we have on these tools, in which we have inserted our life, even our intimate life, delegating a part of ourselves to an external hard disk, which we can no longer do without, to the point of confusing the real and virtual worlds».
The cast includes Calabresi and Solarino, Dino Abbrescia, Emmanuele Aita, Alice Bertini, Paolo Briguglia and Lorenza Indovina.
«Rocco is a positive character, a man wise enough to know how to wait for things to happen and not react immediately to stimuli, but he also has his secrets - reveals the artist - such as the relationship with his daughter, whose affection he gains through benevolence, almost hidden from his wife, to whom, as we men often do, he leaves the role of the big bad wolf».
It all happens in one night, during a lunar eclipse: «The text is the same as the film, the audience's reaction changes, in the theater people laugh more but the final blow is just as strong».
