Inclement weather, resulting in heavy showers, has forced the cancellation of what was supposed to be the first match of the season for the Sassari team coached by Michele Pazienza, who is currently preparing for the match at the training camp in Sappada (Udine). Torres and Padova were scheduled to face each other today at 5:00 PM at the Sottocastello pitch in Pieve di Cadore, but given the weather conditions and unfavorable forecast, the two clubs have agreed to postpone the match, with the hope that it can be rescheduled. This was agreed between the two clubs due to the adverse weather conditions currently prevailing in Veneto.

A real shame, especially since there was a lot of curiosity for the new Torres' first outing, especially against a newly promoted Serie B team like Padova.

The debut has been postponed to Sunday against Venezia, who were recently relegated from Serie A. The match will be played at 5:30 pm at the Longarone municipal stadium.
