Ozzy Osbourne has announced the cancellation of his tour of Europe due to health reasons.

"This is probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to share with my fans," explains the former Black Sabbath leader in a long post on social media. "As you know - he continues - four years ago I had a bad accident that caused damage to my spine ".

The 74-year-old heavy metal legend therefore clarifies that he does not have the necessary strength to face concerts: «My only goal in recent years has been to return to the stage. My voice is fine, but after three operations, stem cell treatment, endless physiotherapy sessions, and recently even with the revolutionary HAL treatment, my body remains weak . I have come to the conclusion that I am physically unable to do the European tour as I would not be able to make the required trips ».

The tour, scheduled for 2019, had already been postponed first due to health and then the Covid emergency. In Italy, a stop at the Bologna Arena was scheduled for May 12, 2023.

Ozzy Osbourne, who also suffers from Alzheimer's, then announced that he was working with his staff to "find a way to play without having to travel from country to country".
