In presenting his candidacy for the center-left presidency of the Province of Oristano , Cabras mayor Andrea Abis believes he's not starting out defeated . "Every game must be played, and I'm here to win."

The mayor of the lagoon, in fact, makes a point that goes far beyond the logic of cold numbers. "If we exclude Oristano," he emphasizes, "all local administrations are civic in nature, and regardless of each individual's affiliation and history, the vote can always hold surprises due to a series of variables and dynamics that are not easily controlled . Above all, the votes of the many municipalities considered small," the presidential candidate warns, "can significantly impact the final outcome. This is why I urge all local administrators to ensure maximum turnout, because in the end, their vote will be decisive."

Abis then clarified a very important aspect that would affect him in the event of a defeat, given that the law does not guarantee election to the defeated president. "I will not also be a candidate for the office of councilor," he clarified, "but I am equally available to continue, along with the friends who support me, the journey we have all begun together."

And regarding the lists that will support him, the presidential candidate announces that " there will be two, and territorial balance will be guaranteed , as will the presence of administrators from small municipalities." And regarding the composition of the lists, he emphasizes that "there are no pre-established packages with parties and movements, because anyone will be able to run during the public consultation meetings that we will hold in all the territories, starting with the capital city at the meeting scheduled for next Tuesday."

The meeting is at 5:00 PM at Mistral 2, where the presidential candidate will also present his vision for the Province, which he previewed during the meeting attended by regional councilors and representatives of the parties and movements that make up the center-left: Democratic Party, Five Star Movement, Avs, Ssinistra Futura, Progressisti, and Orizzonte Comune.
