Now it's really official: Massimiliano Sanna is the center- right mayoral candidate for the municipal elections in Oristano , the only Sardinian provincial capital to vote on 12 June.

Exponent of the Reformers , outgoing deputy mayor, his name had already been approved in the course of the citizen's table of the coalition already last Tuesday, but then Sanna had been called into question, especially at the level of the regional coalition table.

In the end, explains UDC leader Giorgio Oppi , "the mediation of the President of the Region led to the unity of the coalition".

For the election day of 12 June , when the referendum on justice will also be voted on, about 200 thousand Sardinians residing in 65 municipalities will go to the polls to renew their councils and mayors. The lists can be presented until tomorrow at 12.

Six have been submitted so far, supporting the top two candidates for mayor. It is Oristano identity and tradition that supports Filippo Murgia 's candidacy for mayor and five other center-left lists that support Efisio Sanna (Democratic and possible Oristano, Mayor for Efisio Sanna, Sinistra future for Oristano, Oristano Movement and Psi).
