Torregrande beach will host the first edition of the City of Oristano Trophy, a national middle-distance swimming competition organized by the Oristano Swimming Pool - Eleonora d'Arborea Sports Society. On Saturday morning, starting at 8:00 a.m., the waters of the Oristano coastline will welcome athletes ready to compete in a 4,200-meter diamond-shaped course, each with 500-meter legs, to be run counterclockwise, starting and finishing in front of the Sea Scout Beach Bar Resort. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.

The choice of location is no coincidence. "After last year's San Giovanni, this year we chose Torregrande," explains Michele Zucca, director of the event and the organizing pool, "also because it fits in perfectly with the Power of Sport 2026, the event organized by our Sea Scout friends, whom we greatly appreciate and with whom we are delighted to collaborate."

A synergy that speaks of sport, local area, and community, transforming the Torregrande coastline into a wide-ranging stage for a weekend dedicated to healthy competition and inclusion. Swimming, archery, foosball, a 5-kilometer social walk, and then shows, music, and moments of collective sharing.
