Open Monuments, in Sassari there are 39 sites to visit
Among the new features the grotto of the Madonna of Lourdes and the crypt of Sant'AgostinoDiscover or rediscover the wonders of your city, with students (from elementary to high school) as a guide. The 17th edition of Monumenti Aperti in Sassari will enliven the city on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 May with 39 sites that can be visited .
The event was presented this morning at Palazzo Ducale , in the presence of Mayor Nanni Campus, the Councilor for Culture Laura Useri and Giuseppe Murru, of the Imago Mundi association which created Open Monuments.
Among the novelties, the reopening of the Palazzo della Provincia with the Sala Sciuti and the newly restored rooms of the Queen, the Casa Santi Angeli with the grotto of the Madonna of Lourdes, the crypt of San'Agostino and the Tavolara Pavilion.
Brochures with the complete itineraries and the guide to the monuments and sites will be distributed in the next few days, but the digital guide can already be downloaded from the website of the Municipality of Sassari .
Oreste, the open-top bus that will leave from Piazza d'Italia, will also be made available by the ATP.
