Nuoro sisters Barbara and Marcella Dessolis, Barletta's Eleonora Alvisi, Poggibonsi's Linda Salvi, Ciriaco's Jessica Bertoldo in the women's team, and Faenza's Noah Perfetti in the men's team. Six players registered with TC Cagliari have reached the quarterfinals of the Open BNL, played on the clay courts of the Monte Urpinu tennis club. They are joined by Gabriele Maria Noce of Lazio, a representative of TC Alghero.
In the women's singles, Bertoldo of New Cagliari, the pre-match favorite, defeated Gaia Mais 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 and will face Greta Rizzetto tomorrow.
No. 2 seed Alvisi will play No. 7 Anna Tambelli, and Barbara Dessolis will challenge No. 3 Cristiana Ferrando, a finalist here last year.
