All ready in Olbia for the Aquabike World Championship. The jet ski champions return to the Gallura capital for the fifth time, and they do so this year for the first stage of the 2023 championship.
From Friday to Sunday, the champions of the discipline will compete in the stretch of sea in front of the Brin and Bosazza piers; 130 riders from 20 nations will compete, and among these all the Italian "big stars" who will compete in the categories Ski Division Gp1, Gp2, Gp3, Gp4, Women's Ski GP1, Runabout GP1, GP2, GP4, Women's GP4 and Freestyle.
«Also this year Olbia confirms itself as a privileged location for jet skis: among the strong points of the stage, the first of three, the preparation and consolidated experience of the organizers, for a race that promises to be rich in technical, competitive and spectacular», says Vincenzo Iaconianni, president of the Italian Powerboating Federation, who together with Asd Aquabike Olbia and Aquabike Promotion Ltd organizes the event under the aegis of the International Powerboating Federation.
Entries on Thursday, races starting on Friday: the World Championship will end around 7 pm with the awarding of the winners.
