The program of the Maker Faire Sardinia 2024 edition is packed, indeed very packed, and made public by the organizers of the Fab Lab of Olbia. It will join the large group of exhibitors from all over Italy, including the many Fab Labs scattered across the Peninsula, which, as usual, will crowd the dedicated rooms with the most original and innovative projects.

The event, from 26 to 27 April at the Archaeological Museum of Olbia, offers a showcase for makers, researchers, start-ups and enthusiasts: a hub for the exchange of ideas and the promotion of technologies, a point of reference for the island community of digital artisans

This year there will be even more numerous appointments with educational workshops and knowledge of the makers of the moment thanks to interviews and spaces for dialogue. Dedicated to artificial intelligence and its evolutions, this third edition will give space to the theme thanks to a round table, on 27 April from 5pm, which will explore the applications of AI through the speakers and their sectors of origin, from medicine to journalism .

Among the new features, the awarding of the "Best maker", "Best artist" and "Best AI" in the field of digital manufacturing. Some of the many educational workshops, all free, are already sold-out: to participate you need to book on Eventbrite (here is the link https://bit.ly/makerfaire2024biglietti ); on April 26th, from 12pm to 1pm in the Sea Front Room of the Museum, you will also be able to attend the talk by the international association Wi3DP (Women in 3D printing), women from various parts of the world, and with different backgrounds, united to a more inclusive know-how within the STEM market and more strength in additive manufacturing.
