Trastevere has made official the purchase of Gianmarco Staffa: the Roman midfielder, born in 2000, will therefore return to Olbia on February 23 as an opponent.

The surprise departure of the player, who arrived at Olbia last summer and became captain of the whites after the departure of Luca La Rosa, has caused disappointment and some controversy in the environment. In the meantime, Olbia has lost one of its best scorers, since with the white jersey the now ex number 16 scored 5 goals between the championship and the Coppa Italia Serie D, without counting that Staffa has gone to strengthen the team of one of the direct rivals in view of salvation.

Speaking of reinforcements, after Ragatzu and Biancu Zé Maria is expecting new ones: this week at Geovillage, when training resumed after the defeat with Guidonia, the Brazilian coach was able to test several players. Some of these could be suitable for Olbia, but we will talk about it again next week: against Anzio on Sunday at the “Nespoli”, on the occasion of the 4th day of the return match, the former Inter player will have to make do with what he has.

At the moment Olbia has about thirty registered players, but between players who ended up on the fringes of the project, such as Anelli and Santi, and others who are off the radar, especially Totti, the actual squad is much smaller. Add to this the maxi disqualification of Marie-Sainte, who after the red card received on the bench during the match in Guidonia has received 5 matchdays, and will not return, therefore, before March 2 and the match on the pitch of the "big" Puteolana. Provided that the experienced central defender, who has been on the bench in the last two games, does not decide to terminate the contract that ties him to the Gallura club before then.
