For the new Olbia coach it's a matter of a week. «Maximum 10 days», assures the president Alessandro Marino.

The rest of the technical staff and the team will follow. "Starting from the players expiring in June and the loans from young players, many of whom could come from Cagliari", underlines the top manager of the whites. This morning, at the club headquarters, Marino called a meeting with the press to clarify some points. Including the note from a month ago in which he announced that he would evaluate offers to purchase Olbia.

«There have been expressions of interest from American investment funds to enter Olbia, and all on condition that I remain in my position: I hope they materialize. However, this would mean more serene management of the company and having an advantage in terms of capital to invest in infrastructural growth projects and human capital», explains Marino.

No provocation against those who challenged him for the team's results. "I didn't have it with the fans: I just had a drop in enthusiasm after a season in which I was subjected to intense rhythms," he clarifies. «The message I would like to give to everyone is that I am not giving up. But it's important for fans to know that the budget has never changed over time, and that swinging between direct salvation and 50 or 60 points in the standings is a physiological turnover for this category."

So, the goals. «The least one remains the confirmation of Serie C, with the ambition to finish on the left side of the standings», announces the president of Olbia. «We want to try, but to succeed everything must align, from the choice of the coach to the perfect loans. Whoever owns the 20,000-seat stadium has revenues that we don't have, at least not for now, because the preliminary project for the new stadium exists. But for my part – he concludes – I guarantee enthusiasm in making a category championship and the commitment to live it as much as possible on the classic left side».
