Olbia failed on all fronts. The verdict from the National Amateur League arrives via certified e-mail to communicate to the Gallura club that the investigation regarding the application for registration in the 2024/25 Serie D championship has given a negative outcome.

The reasons listed by Covisod are simple and clear: Olbia submitted the application but did not pay the registration fees, amounting to 21 thousand 500 euros, guaranteed the guarantee of 31 thousand euros and paid the salaries for March, April and May of the previous season in Serie C, for a sum of around 280 thousand euros, as certified by Covisoc.

On the day of the deadline, last July 12th, the Swiss property, unofficially, given the press silence in which it has been closed for over 2 months, had tried to reassure employees and the environment that salaries and registration had been paid and the guarantee had been presented.

But evidently things did not go according to the story of the president Guido Surace and the other members of the SwissPro board, who, if they wanted, could lodge an appeal by 2pm on 22 July. Based on which elements, however, remains to be seen.
