Olbia drops its appeal against its exclusion and refuses to register: bankruptcy just around the corner?

While awaiting the press conference called for tomorrow morning by Olbia Mayor Settimo Nizzi to discuss Olbia Calcio's current situation and the possibility of starting over with a new club from the Second Division, there is some less than reassuring news regarding Olbia Calcio 1905 and its fate following its failure to qualify for the 2026/27 Eccellenza championship.

It appears, in fact, that the appeal announced by president Flavia Fiore against the exclusion from the top regional football tournament will not be presented, and that Olbia Calcio will not be registered in any other championship.

From there to the club's bankruptcy, barring any surprises, the step could be very short.
